How it works

  1. **Odin lets you invest in startups and funds via SPV’s.**
    1. People are able to lead syndicates of investors and charge carried interest (a success fee) and deal fees to participants.
    2. Founders can also use odin structures to set up SPV’s and invite people to contribute smaller cheques to their funding round.
    3. You can currently invest in GBP, EUR and USD. We will soon be introducing USDC.
  2. The first time you are invited to invest via Odin, you will need to do the following:
    1. Agree to our terms, confirm you are a sophisticated / accredited investor as per UK and your local market regulation
    2. Create an account by entering a password
    3. Complete KYC & AML checks See What documents do I need to complete KYC and AML checks?
  3. Every time you are invited to invest via Odin, you will need to provide the following:
    1. Proof of source of funds for the investment you are making (i.e. evidence you earned the money fairly and legally). See What documents can I provide as proof of source of funds? (this also covers questions on cryptoassets)
  4. After you invest
    1. You will be able to track your portfolio via the “portfolio view” on the Odin platform.
    2. You will receive reports from the investee company according to the reporting schedule outlined on the deal page.
